• Shall be open to all, irrespective of Colour or creed and without discrimination whatsoever. Whereas Building Africa advocates for the global co-operation against poverty and other ineffective socio-economic parameters in Africa as a Continental Non-Governmental, Non-political, Non-religious and Non-profit making organisation, it is paramount that members of Building Africa make a living by not what they get, but by what they give Africa through willingness to give up their lives for justice and mercy to prevail.

 

• This can only be achieved if members sacrifice their selfish agenda for the good of the people. Membership to Building Africa is voluntary and is based on the principle of willing seller willing buyer with no jealousy, malice, hatred and un-productive ambition. Hence the OPEN DEMOCRACY, where a member is free to cease being a member if his/her views are not compatible with the objectives and vision of the Building Africa as is stipulated in the constitution.

 

• Your contribution to the noble course of fighting underdevelopment in Africa, with no strings attached and/or prejudice, is highly welcomed at any level and in whatever form (financially, mentally or physically) it would be.  Thus the organisation “Building Africa need only THE TOTAL LOYALTY” and dedication from members for the success of the objectives set forthwith.

 

• Take what you are given (responsibility) and build your way up on a voluntary basis.  Take your time dear members before you jumped into Building Africa’s bandwagon. The organisation Building Africa is not a battle ground for power by ballot or bribery, hence no campaign to smear your fellow members’ names.Back biting and or ill-talking against your fellow members is a punishable OFFENCE by terminating your membership.

To volunteer under no duress means an open democracy and it is your right if it is not materially driven for selfish gain. To offer your material, intellectual and expertise contribution to those who are not able but are capable if well guided on optimal use of the resources, would fulfil a key objective of Building Africa.

 

• Building Africa does not call for material and war-like driven ambitions but assumes you are a ‘SAINT’ or an ‘APOSTLE’ with three capabilities (material, skill and vision) to bail out your fellow country people (in Africa) from the foe – Poverty.

 

• The main objective of Building Africa is to HELP PEOPLE TO HELP THEMSELVES. This can be through counselling, sensitisation and motivation to draw the people’s attention to the existence of projects that would help raise their living standards if their efforts are salvaged by the governments, donors, NGO’s, and local financiers collaborating in alleviating poverty in their respective areas of operation. When accepting the challenge to serve Building Africa as a volunteer, your attention is drawn to the fact that it is your contribution to the people of Africa and not what you get or grab out of Africa that is paramount. Don’t ask what Africa has done for you, but what you have done for Africa.
